Update: Success in Land Acquisition Case Against TNB

On 10-8-2020, we had successfully assisted our clients to obtain a compensation amount of RM700,758.00 from TNB for acquiring their land for the purposes of building electricity poles.

When TNB first acquired the land from our client, our client faced difficulties in recovering the compensation sum the quantum of the sum was disputed between parties.

However, we brought the case before the High Court and made a summary judgment application. By tendering the relevant letters and documents, we argued in our written submissions that our client is entitled to RM700,758.00.

Based on the evidence tendered and our submission, The High Court judge decided that it is a plain and obvious case that our client is entitled to RM700,758.00.

The case is currently pending disposal for the remaining sum of RM140,151.60.
